Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join its Boston-based infrastructure team in a hybrid role. You will support ~350 users across global offices, handling desktop, application, and infrastructure issues and engaging with business stakeholders.

Key technologies include Windows 11, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, and Azure. The role involves image-building, automation contributions, and an on-call rotation. Three on-site days in downtown Boston are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of hands-on desktop support experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; people skills are essential.
• Experience in financial services or professional services environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies; scripting and cloud certifications are a plus.
• Comfortable working an 8am-4pm shift, three days per week on-site in downtown Boston.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical support (Tier 1-3) across desktop, application, and infrastructure environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; own service tickets through resolution.
• Support and maintain Windows 11, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, and Azure environments.
• Build and image laptops; contribute to automation and process improvement.
• Participate in a light on-call rotation (1 in 5 weeks) with global support coverage.
