Job summary

unybrands is seeking a Senior Designer & Product Developer for Baby + Lifestyle Soft Goods. This role requires guiding the process from mood board to final tech pack, collaborating with suppliers and factories to ship premium products.

You will own product development across baby, kids, nursery and lifestyle soft goods, setting direction for color, materials, and construction while balancing aesthetics with manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years designing and developing product in baby, children's, apparel, home textiles or soft goods.
• Portfolio shows commercial smarts and strong aesthetics.
• Fluency in textiles, construction, tech packs, and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
• Experience working with domestic and international suppliers.
• Ability to think big-picture while obsessive about construction details.

Responsibilities

• Dream up seasonal and evergreen products across baby, kids, nursery and lifestyle soft goods.
• Set color, material, texture, print and trim direction to create distinct brand identity.
• Build tech packs, specs, BOMs and construction details to turn concepts into sellable products.
• Work hands-on with fabrics, trims, finishes; partner with suppliers and factories.
• Balance beauty, quality, cost and manufacturability while maintaining design POV.
• Help dream up new categories beyond existing lines.
