Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sr. Designer to lead the design team and deliver end-to-end consultative design services for residential and commercial projects in Bridgeton, MO.

You will educate customers, craft design concepts aligned with style, lifestyle, and budget, and drive relationships that foster brand loyalty. The role requires strong design education or equivalent experience, plus retail/sales aptitude, excellent communication, and proficiency with design tools like

Qualifications

• BA/AA in Interior Design or 6 years of interior design experience in lieu of a degree.
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• Prior retail/sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Internal candidates must have 24 months of Floor & Decor Designer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support store design needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
