Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• 8–10+ years of professional architectural experience with a focus on custom residential design.
• Professional architectural license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Proven ability to produce design and construction documentation across all phases.
• Strong understanding of residential architecture, wood-frame construction, codes, and construction administration.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with client relationships.
• Collaborative leadership with mentoring and developing team members.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; strong hand sketching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of custom residential project development from permitting to construction.
• Develop design solutions and technical documentation carrying design intent through stages.
• Act as main contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Coordinate schedules, consultants, documentation, and construction administration activities.
• Develop schematic designs, presentation materials, and material selections.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio culture through design reviews.
