Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of professional architectural experience in custom residential design.
• B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited program; licensure preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of residential architecture, wood-frame construction, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills; ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of custom residential projects from permitting to construction administration.
• Develop design solutions and technical documentation that carry design intent through all project stages.
• Serve as a main contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams, fostering strong communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate project schedules, consultants, documentation, and construction administration activities to support successful project execution.
• Develop schematic designs, presentation materials, and material selections that support the overall design vision while ensuring technical quality and code compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture through technical guidance and design reviews.
