Job summary

Brex is seeking a world-class design recruiter to partner with hiring managers and design leadership to define team needs and role requirements. You will source, engage, and assess top design talent across Product Design, Brand/Visual Design and Design Leadership, building pipelines for immediate and long-term needs.

You will manage the full lifecycle from outreach to onboarding, track recruiting metrics, and advocate Brex’s brand within the design community through events, portfolio reviews,

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for design roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with AI tools, recruiting platforms and creative talent networks.
• Ability to assess design portfolios and understand craft, systems thinking and user-centered methods.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Data-driven mindset: interprets recruiting metrics and drives process improvements.
• Manages multiple searches and priorities at once.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and outreach for design roles, using recruiting platforms, creative communities, portfolio sites and social networks.
• Recruit across Product Design, Brand/Visual Design and Design Leadership.
• Screen and evaluate portfolios, craft quality, systems thinking and collaboration skills.
• Partner with design leaders to calibrate on craft standards, hiring bar and team composition.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, including portfolio reviews and design exercises, with a high-quality candidate experience.
• Give hiring managers and stakeholders regular updates on pipeline health and progress.
• Keep candidate data accurate in recruiting systems and dashboards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, inclusive hiring and candidate experience.
• Help shape and promote Brex's design employer brand.
