Job summary

Brex is seeking a Senior Design Recruiter in New York, NY to partner with design leadership and hiring managers across Product Design, Brand Design, and Design Leadership. You will source, engage, and assess world-class design talent and own the full lifecycle from outreach to onboarding.

You will build pipelines for immediate and long-term needs, track recruiting metrics, and champion Brex’s employer brand within the design community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for design roles in a fast-growth environment.
• Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with AI tools, recruiting platforms and creative talent networks.
• Ability to assess design portfolios and understand craft, systems thinking and user-centered methods.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Data-driven mindset: interprets recruiting metrics and drives process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and outreach for design roles, using recruiting platforms, creative communities, portfolio sites and social networks.
• Recruit across Product Design, Brand Design and Design Leadership.
• Screen and evaluate portfolios, craft quality, systems thinking and collaboration skills.
• Partner with design leaders to calibrate on craft standards, hiring bar and team composition.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, including portfolio reviews and design exercises, with a high-quality candidate experience.
• Give hiring managers and stakeholders regular updates on pipeline health and progress.
• Keep candidate data accurate in recruiting systems and dashboards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, inclusive hiring and candidate experience.
• Help shape and promote Brex's design employer brand.
