Job summary

Brex is seeking a Staff brand designer to join the Design team, a cross-disciplinary group of creatives including product designers, brand designers, content design, operations, and marketing strategists. Drive evolution of Brex's brand identity system, pushing our visual language forward while maintaining cohesion across touchpoints.

Work with Marketing, Web, Product and partners to ensure a distinctive, scalable brand presence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of brand design or art direction experience.
• Portfolio showing strategic thinking and system design across brands.
• Deep typography, color, composition, and scalable visual systems.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and align with senior stakeholders.
• Experience across multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments.
• Fluency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; quick prototyping.
• Practical use of AI tools in creative processes with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the brand identity system and visual language.
• Define brand standards balancing consistency with flexibility.
• Translate strategy into clear visual direction with leadership partners.
• Design and deliver new brand expressions to advance identity and equity.
• Lead campaigns, sub-brands, and select product or service launches.
• Art direct campaigns with external partners and internal teams.
• Guide organization-wide brand execution to raise quality and impact.
