Job summary

One North in Chicago is seeking a senior design systems designer with deep UX/UI expertise and advanced Figma proficiency to lead scalable, enterprise design systems. The role supports embedded client teams and advisory work to evolve system solutions across platforms.

Based in the U.S. or Canada, you will mentor designers, collaborate with product, engineering and research, and drive accessibility and systems thinking across digital design projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design systems or enterprise UX/design
• Advanced proficiency with Figma (AutoLayout, components, tokens)
• Experience building scalable enterprise design libraries and documentation
• Strong visuals and typography skills; accessibility focus
• Ability to lead client-facing engagements and workshops

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and evolution of enterprise design systems across products and platforms
• Build and maintain advanced Figma libraries with design tokens and components
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure parity between design and code
• Audit and refactor components for usability and accessibility
• Create scalable documentation and onboarding materials for system adoption
• Mentor designers and lead client sessions to showcase work
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business/user needs
