Job summary

Figma is seeking a Product Designer for the Design Systems team to build and evolve shared patterns across products. You will shape strategy, define a clear vision, and collaborate with PMs, engineers, and other designers to ensure consistent design components.

This full-time role can be based from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States, reflecting the scale of multi-product environments and the need for cohesive patterns across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Design Systems designer.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively on design solutions.
• Ability to create simple, scalable solutions for complex user experiences across products.
• Experience managing complex projects spanning teams and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making for cross-product design systems.
• Define and communicate a clear vision for shared design patterns across products.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other design teams to ensure consistent components.
• Create, iterate, and refine design system components, flows, prototypes, and visuals.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of the design system across the organization.
