Job summary

Epsilon is seeking a Sr. UI Designer based in Chicago to co-own the CORE UI design system, shaping visual fidelity and interaction quality across Figma and production code.

You will collaborate with Product Design and Engineering to push enterprise SaaS UI forward, using AI tools to accelerate exploration without sacrificing quality. You will mentor the design org, contribute to documentation, and define a motion language to make complex software feel alive while ensuring WCAG accessibility

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in UI development or a related hybrid field.
• Strong, hands-on experience contributing to and evolving a design system across Figma and code (React).
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate design-to-code workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the ongoing evolution of Epsilon's CORE UI design system, contributing to its token architecture, component quality, and interaction standards across both Figma and production code.
• Build future-facing prototypes that explore emerging interaction patterns, next-generation UI concepts, and new product directions, communicating vision and intent before a line of production code is written.
• Rapidly iterate on existing components by applying AI-assisted workflows and tools to shorten build-to-code cycles while preserving quality.
• Define and champion a motion language for the product: easing curves, transition choreography, loading states, and micro-interactions.
• Partner closely with front-end engineers to close the gap between design intent and production reality, reviewing implementations and writing production-quality CSS and component code when needed.
• Contribute to design system documentation, usage guidance, and adoption to enable consistency across product teams.
