Job summary

SimplePractice is seeking a Senior Designer, Creative Systems to lead scalable design systems across web, email, brand, and marketing. You will translate strategy into practical components and templates, collaborating with senior leaders to ensure consistency and efficiency.

You will focus on governance, documentation, and empowering cross-functional teams to create high‑quality on-brand work with self-service tools, while exploring AI-assisted design to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in design systems, digital design, visual design, brand design, or marketing design.
• Strong portfolio showing craft and design systems experience.
• Advanced typography, composition, visual hierarchy, color, layout, accessibility, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Create, evolve, and maintain scalable design systems, libraries, templates, tokens, and modular frameworks across web, email, brand, and marketing.
• Translate brand principles and design strategy into flexible, reusable systems.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align systems with web, marketing, and brand standards.
• Develop templates and self-service tools so non-designers can produce on-brand work independently.
• Document usage guidelines and governance to keep systems healthy over time.
