Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC seeks a Design Manager to lead design efforts on complex design-build projects nationwide. You will drive design deliverables, interface with clients and partners, and ensure on-time, on-budget design solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4–8 years of relevant experience, with strong BIM, AutoCAD and Revit familiarity. Remote-friendly with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 4–8 years of relevant work experience, preferably with design-build experience.
• Experience as design manager or related roles; staff management preferred.
• Interest in construction GC and complete design-build process.
• Understanding of design-build execution and BIM basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design deliverables through the design process.
• Interface with clients, designers and trade partners.
• Deliver high quality design on budget and schedule.
• Ensure design meets contractual and program requirements.
• Lead design review and comment resolution.
• Collaborate with cost manager and purchasing agent.
• Resolve design issues in real time.
• Participate in bid submissions and develop RFP/RFQ responses.
