Job summary

CannonDesign seeks a senior design leader to guide design excellence and strategic direction across projects in the United States. You will lead visionary concepts, communicate with clients, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design quality from concept through completion.

You will mentor staff, drive living-centered design, and contribute to business development. Travel to project sites and conferences is expected as part of the leadership role within a national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Architecture required; Master preferred.
• US Architectural Registration preferred.
• 18 years+ experience; 5+ years leading others in a design studio.
• LEED accreditation or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design excellence and ensure project quality across phases.
• Direct client presentations and convey design goals effectively.
• Collaborate with technical leaders and subject matter experts.
• Integrate sustainability and decarbonization strategies into design solutions.
• Cultivate design culture, mentorship, and living-centered design philosophy.
