Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a seasoned project management leader to guide projects within a market or office. You will mentor teams, advance quality, and ensure solid financial performance while integrating CannonDesign’s design services.

You will lead client relationships, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive the project from planning through construction with a focus on schedule, budget, and quality. A strong engineering/architecture background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
• Current licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Must be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess business acumen and be a critical thinker.
• Strong technical knowledge and leadership to guide project teams and clients.
• Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam and other data-management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and nurture client relationships to generate future opportunities for CannonDesign.
• Develop and maintain positive client relations; communicate design and construction issues clearly.
• Establish a partnering relationship with the client early to align expectations and decisions.
• Lead meetings and presentations; ensure clear project documentation and communication.
• Participate in business development with Marketing and Office Leadership to grow top line.
• Understand contractual obligations; manage scope changes and client approvals.
