Job summary

MOCA Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Manager (Owner's Representative / Architect) to lead the envisioning and design management of large, complex construction projects in the Irvine area.

This hybrid role requires hands-on leadership across design, procurement, and construction phases, with travel up to 25%. You will coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors to maintain alignment with the original vision, mentor staff, and drive proposals and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from NCARB-accredited program.
• Active California architectural license preferred.
• Design management and leadership experience required.
• Experience with large, complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads the execution in the delivery of services for complex projects, including procurement and design management.
• Fosters collaboration with architect and contractor teams and maintains client relationships.
• Maintains open dialogue with client and stakeholders on project status and expectations.
• Mentors project personnel and ensures performance on projects.
• Travel up to 25% to project sites and offices.
