Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Senior Design Specialist to lead design projects within the Marketing and Client Development team. You will drive the execution from concept to delivery, ensuring outputs are innovative, user-centric, and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.

You will collaborate across teams, maintain design systems, and push modern design practices while leveraging AI tools and new technologies to enhance workflows and visual identity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years directly applicable experience in visual branding, design, advertising or related creative marketing.
• Proficient in UI/UX design and modular design techniques.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and web technologies (HTML/CSS).
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders, leading reviews and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all design elements on assigned projects from concept to final delivery.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines, asset tracking, and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm, gather feedback and iterate designs.
• Participate in design reviews and help set design quality standards.
• Maintain and expand design systems, style guides, UI kits, and typography standards.
