Job summary

Rivian seeks a Design-for-Reliability Engineer to integrate reliability into mechanical chassis systems from concept through production. You will work with a world-class team to create robust solutions for complex engineering challenges and become the reliability expert for the chassis design group.

Minimum BS in engineering or equivalent with 1+ years in reliability is expected, along with strong Python skills and experience with FMEAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 1+ years in reliability engineering.
• Strong technical background with interest in reliability.
• Experience facilitating FMEAs and leading cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with reliability analysis tools like JMP or ReliaSoft.

Responsibilities

• Design reliability into Rivian's chassis systems from concept to production.
• Collaborate with design and validation teams to solve challenging engineering problems.
• Serve as the reliability development expert to the chassis design team.
