The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of design experience, expert SolidWorks skills, and experience with injection molding or die casting. On-site in Owatonna, you will drive DFMEA, DFM, prototyping, and design reviews.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of product design or development experience.
• Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks and engineering analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development activities from concept through production launch.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.
• Perform tolerances analyses and design validation activities.
• Utilize FEA to evaluate and optimize performance.
• Design components for injection molding, die casting, and related processes.
• Conduct Design Reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
• Develop prototypes and oversee prototype evaluations.
• Support DFM and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Execute testing, validation, and lifecycle studies.
• Provide technical leadership for improvements and customization.
