Justrite Safety Group is seeking an experienced Sr Design Engineer to drive mechanical design, documentation, and manufacturability for fabricated sheet metal cabinet products. You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to support NPD and sustaining engineering for the Safety Cabinet line.

You will lead 3D CAD development, GD&T, and documentation, while focusing on product performance, cost, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 6+ years of product design experience in manufactured goods, preferably metal.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and GD&T for production release.

Mansioni

• Design and develop fabricated sheet metal cabinet products from concept through production release.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and specs with configuration control.
• Lead design-for-manufacture improvements across fabrication and assembly processes.
• Support compliance, certification, test plans, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, and Supply Chain.
