Microchip Technology Inc in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Senior Engineer II - Design to join the Networking and Communications Group. You will contribute to bringing advanced connectivity devices to market, including Ethernet switches and bridges, USB hubs, PCIe bridges, and SerDes interfaces.

This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience, strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and experience in ASIC design/verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience in Ethernet, USB, and PCIe protocols.
• Digital design projects using Verilog/SystemVerilog; ASIC design/verification experience.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a collaborative group environment.
