Job summary

L&T Technology Services Limited in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a CAD Engineer to develop and modify 3D CAD models for New Product Development using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE, and to build and validate assemblies for fit, function, and manufacturability.

The role requires creating detailed drawings with GD&T, managing ECR/ECO/ECN, and ensuring PLM data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams through the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D CAD modeling in NPD.
• Proficiency in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE and GSD.
• Ability to perform design optimization and implement ECO/ECR processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D CAD models for NPD using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Create and manage complex surface and solid models with GSD techniques.
• Perform design optimization and engineering changes based on requirements.
• Build and validate assemblies for fit, function, manufacturability, and performance.
• Generate production drawings, GD&T annotations, and documentation.
• Manage ECR/ECO/ECN while ensuring data integrity.
• Support product development across the design lifecycle and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, design standards, and PLM processes.

• Create and manage complex surface and solid models using Generative Shape Design (GSD) techniques.
• Perform design optimization and engineering changes based on product requirements.
• Build and validate assemblies for fit, function, manufacturability, and performance.
• Generate detailed production drawings, GD&T annotations, and engineering documentation.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests/Orders/Notices (ECR/ECO/ECN) while ensuring design data integrity.
• Support product development activities throughout the design lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, design standards, and PLM processes.
• Boat/Yacht/Marine vessel design experience is an added advantage.
