Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related engineering discipline.
• 6-8 years of professional experience in product design and development.
• Strong practical experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Experience developing production-ready 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize 3D CAD models for new product development using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Create and manage complex surface geometry using GSD and advanced surfacing techniques.
• Perform solid modeling, part design, feature development, and design modifications.
• Develop and maintain product structures and integrate components into assemblies.
• Validate designs for fit, function, packaging, manufacturability, and design intent.
• Implement engineering changes through ECR, ECO, ECN, and related change-control processes.
• Create detailed 2D production drawings with GD&T and tolerances.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, systems, testing, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Support product development activities from concept through prototype and production release.
• Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, standards, and PLM processes.

yWe are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE to support new product development and engineering design programs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in complex surfacing, solid modeling, assembly design, engineering change management, production drawings, and PLM-controlled product development

.The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and customer engineering organizations to develop production-ready designs from concept through engineering release while ensuring compliance with design standards, manufacturing requirements, and quality expectations

.Key Responsibilitie

• sDevelop, modify, and optimize 3D CAD models for new product and component development using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
• .Create and manage complex surface geometry using Generative Shape Design (GSD) and advanced surfacing techniques
• .Perform solid modeling, part design, feature development, and design modifications based on engineering requirements
• .Develop and maintain product structures and integrate components into assemblies
• .Validate designs for fit, function, packaging, manufacturability, and design intent
• .Implement engineering changes through ECR, ECO, ECN, and related change-control processes
• .Maintain accurate configuration, revision, and design data throughout the product lifecycle
• .Create detailed 2D production drawings, including GD&T, dimensional requirements, tolerances, and engineering annotations
• .Support design reviews and participate in cross-functional technical discussions
• .Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, systems, testing, and other engineering teams to resolve design-related issues
