Job summary

The State of Missouri seeks a Senior Professional Engineer to design and oversee Abandoned Mine Land projects in Jefferson City. You will prepare detailed plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson and Global Mapper, and lead teams to deliver reclamation goals within budgets.

You will coordinate multiple disciplines, review coal permit actions, conduct onsite data collection, and travel as needed. Missouri licensure as a Professional Engineer is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with four or more years of engineering experience for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plans and specs for complex AML projects meeting landowner needs using sound engineering practices.
• Lead AML team to develop scope of work for large earthmoving projects and manage budgets.
• Direct and coordinate construction, surveys, contractors, and technical staff to ensure design goals are met.
• Perform engineering reviews of coal permit applications and conduct onsite data collection.
