Job summary

OWN, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning through construction in Missouri, Arkansas, and beyond.

You will build client relationships, oversee design teams, and present to city councils and boards, ensuring funding and compliance. 5+ years of municipal design, a PE license, and an ABET-accredited degree are preferred; travel to Missouri communities is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of municipal water and/or wastewater design experience.
• Active PE license (Missouri preferred or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and plans, specs, cost estimates.
• Experience with infrastructure funding programs or strong interest.
• Comfort presenting to city officials and public boards.
• Willingness to travel to Missouri communities for meetings and site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning through construction.
• Design water distribution systems, wells, towers, sewers, lift stations, and upgrades.
• Perform and review hydraulic modeling for water and sewer systems.
• Help clients secure funding via SRF, USDA RD, and CDBG; prep PERs and facility plans.
• Present to city councils and utility boards; provide senior oversight during construction.
• Mentor engineers and designers on the team.
