Job summary

Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in Missouri seeks a senior civil engineer to lead an engineering team and coordinate complex sewer facility projects.

You will review designs, manage consulting engineers, interface with public officials, contractors, and developers, and ensure schedules and records are maintained. Proficiency in HYDRA, XP-SWMM, PCSWMM, EPA Net is preferred.

This role requires a Missouri PE license, a civil engineering degree, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Six years of licensed Professional Engineer experience.
• Missouri Professional Engineer license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate the work of engineering team members.
• Assist in reviewing design plans produced by team members.
• Manage consulting engineers performing work of considerable difficulty and coordinate design with other District departments.
• Meet with consulting engineers, contractors, private development project owners, and public officials as required.
• Maintain and monitor project schedules.
• Maintain records and prepare technical reports.
