The State of Missouri is seeking a Senior Engineer/Architect leader for the State Parks Central Office in Jefferson City. You will supervise licensed engineers, architects, and landscape architects, coordinating design projects and budgets while ensuring compliance with standards and timelines.

Applicants must hold a Civil Engineering ABET-accredited degree and have 6+ years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate across agencies and with external

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
6 or more years of relevant engineering experience.

Mansioni

Supervise and manage staff of licensed engineers, architects, and landscape architects, handling personnel, schedules, training, assignments and performance expectations.
Coordinate with OA FMDC on contracted design projects, ensuring objectives are met.
Review and evaluate design specifications for compliance and permitting needs.
Provide guidance to division leadership by analyzing design options and detailing strengths/weaknesses.
Provide technical guidance to others as needed.
Review and facilitate project creation and budget placement for division capital improvement cycles.
