Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Infrastructure Division seeks a senior Design / Project Management Branch Manager to lead the dedicated team responsible for capital construction and minor projects from inception to construction solicitation.

You will partner with TPWD leaders, manage budgets, set design standards, mentor architectural and engineering staff, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery across TPWD facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Ten years of supervising and managing real property construction projects.
• Five years of directly managing architectural/engineering project managers.
• Experience in public speaking and presentations.
• Licensure as Architect, Engineer, or Landscape Architect with Texas reciprocal eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction tasks and coordination with Architecture/Engineering firms.
• Oversee design/procurement from inception to construction solicitation.
• Mentor staff, manage branch budget, and ensure timely project delivery.
