Job summary

University of California, Irvine's Design & Construction Services seeks a team lead with deep knowledge in design and construction to advance the campus capital program while ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

You will counsel senior leaders, develop policy and contract guidance, and mentor other managers and analysts as you drive effective project delivery under state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of planning, design and construction procedures.
• Advanced experience developing policies related to design and construction.
• In-depth understanding of contract documents related to design/construction.
• Advanced knowledge of university organization, rules, regulations and plans.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Advanced team building and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• License to practice in architecture, engineering, urban design, city planning or landscape architecture.
