Job summary

University of California, Irvine seeks a professional to support its capital program through policy development and contract administration within the Design & Construction Services group.

You will assist in creating policies, procedures, contract documents, and code implementation while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations, collaborating with engineers, architects and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction procedures and industry practices.
• Experience with contract documents and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing policies, procedures, (contract) documents and code implementation related to design and construction.
• Provides technical advice related to design and construction.
• Exercises judgment on issues of moderate scope and complexity within established standards and guidelines.
