Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer in St. Louis, MO to develop and integrate complex mission systems. You will join a cross-functional team delivering integrated sensor, communication, and core systems for warfighters.

In this role you will work in an agile environment, mature products through the development lifecycle, and have opportunities for leadership as you advance MBSE-driven designs across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical) required.
• 14+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with MBSE modeling tools and agile environments.
• Experience leading a team of engineers on mission-systems projects.

Responsibilities

• Make complex software and hardware design decisions for mission processing capabilities.
• Lead capability integration team (software, hardware, test) to release capabilities to the customer.
• Create and scope mission features decomposed from system requirements to high-level software requirements.
• Analyze and translate customer requirements into system, hardware and software designs.
• Define interfaces to ensure compatibility with platform architecture and interoperability with subsystems.
• Utilize MBSE for requirements, interfaces, and traceability in hardware and software.
• Test and validate system functionality to meet operational requirements.
• Present design change recommendations to leadership and customer.
