Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Derivative Accountant to lead the technical accounting lifecycle for derivative instruments and hedging relationships across multiple client portfolios. You will own documentation, testing, journal entries, and disclosures under ASC 815 and IFRS 9.

The role requires hands-on expertise, ownership of client engagements end-to-end, and clear communication with treasury and finance stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with derivative instruments and hedge accounting.
• Deep fluency in ASC 815 and IFRS 9, including hedge accounting elections and disclosures.
• Experience with fair value measurement (ASC 820 / IFRS 13).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end derivative accounting for multiple client portfolios.
• Prepare and review hedge documentation and effectiveness testing.
• Execute quantitative/qualitative effectiveness assessments.
