Ripple is seeking a Senior Derivative Accountant to own the full accounting lifecycle for derivative instruments across multiple client portfolios. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in hedge accounting, ASC 815, IFRS 9, and related disclosures, with direct engagement with treasury and finance stakeholders.

The position emphasizes rigorous documentation, testing, and clear communication, including support for external audits and ongoing internal improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with derivative instruments and hedge accounting.
• CPA preferred; advanced degree in Accounting/Finance a plus.
• Strong fluency in ASC 815 and IFRS 9; robust disclosure experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end derivative accounting for a variety of contracts (swaps, forwards, options, commodities).
• Prepare hedge documentation, designation memos, and effectiveness testing.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative effectiveness assessments and prepare journal entries and disclosures.
