Job summary

HOLT Renewables seeks a Senior Commercial Project Developer to originate, structure, and advance high-impact DER projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. You will translate energy economics, policy, and engineering into bankable, turnkey solutions from origination to close.

The role requires a commercial leader with agile mindset to navigate solar PV, BESS, microgrids, and behind-the-meter applications, aligning client objectives with capital structures and coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial project development for solar PV, BESS, microgrids or distributed energy infrastructure.
• Ability to model financial feasibility, cash flows, LCOE, and project economics.
• Strong understanding of policy, tariffs, and incentive programs across US energy markets.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and advance DER projects from qualified pipeline to close.
• Lead RFP/RFQ responses and strategic proposals, defining winning narratives and scopes.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, pre-construction, and operations to evaluate constructability and bids.
• Evaluate energy architectures, tariff structures, and market rules to maximize project economics.
• Advocate to C‑suite and manage channel partner networks to uncover opportunities.
