Job summary

You will mentor engineers, manage DER projects such as PV, storage, and microgrids, and collaborate with utilities and internal teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget outcomes.

Strong communication, 15+ years in electrical engineering and 5+ years of project management are required; professional engineer licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
• 15+ years in Electrical Engineering with a DER focus.
• 5+ years of project management experience; 3+ years people management.
• Experience in PV, storage, microgrid design and related DER projects.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train project engineers on DER principles and skills.
• Lead DER project design, including solar, storage, microgrids for key clients.
• Develop and maintain DER technical standards and design methods.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling and financial performance of projects.
