Job summary

Versaterm in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior Manager, Deployments to lead deployment, data migration and integration across Public Safety environments. You will manage a team of deployment specialists and managers, set delivery standards, and drive automation and efficiency.

The role requires 8–12 years in technical delivery with 3–5 in people management, Linux/AWS/Azure skills, data migration, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in technical delivery and 3–5 years in a people management role.
• Experience managing managers or leading multi-team functions in a software delivery or professional services environment.
• Familiarity with data migration and system integration practices in enterprise or SaaS contexts.
• Strong technical proficiency across Linux, AWS and Azure, plus scripting and database deployment experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain high-performing teams through clear goal-setting and coaching.
• Familiarity with public safety software or mission-critical enterprise software environments is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical, project, and leadership audiences.
• Experience using AI tools as part of daily support workflows to enhance productivity and learning.
• Ability to obtain applicable security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Deployment Specialists and Managers.
• Own delivery standards across tooling, documentation practices, and quality benchmarks.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and capacity planning across Deployment and Data Migration & Integration.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes to reduce time-to-deploy and improve client outcomes.
• Serve as escalation point for complex deployment and integration issues, coordinating cross-functional resolution.
• Contribute to hiring decisions, onboarding frameworks, and development planning for both teams.
• Represent functions in planning cycles with delivery forecasts and headcount needs.
• Ensure compliance with CJIS security policy and data handling standards.
