Acuity Inc. in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Demand and Buyer Planner Manager to oversee the end-to-end demand and supply management for components in a built-to-order, high-mix low-volume environment.

You will own allocation, collaborate with Customer Service, Production, Planning and Warehouse teams, and drive continuous improvement of supply chain performance. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant experience; equivalent knowledge may be considered.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of integrated Supply Chain Systems (SAP, Oracle or Any MRP).
• Minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years Manufacturing/Materials/Logistics experience in a production environment.
• Experience should include mixed production processes in a low volume, high product mix operation.
• Background in Manufacturing production, Material flow, Kanban, and accounting principles preferred.

Responsabilités

• Requisition & PO placement, contract reviews, invoice management.
• Root Cause and Counter Measure (follow up).
• Deliver efficient, effective, and flexible solutions to meet production and business requirements. Create KPI’s to manage component demand.
• Connect activities, objectives, goals to the functional or business strategy.
• Build a business case/scenario to support supply chain proposals. Read and understand business reports and analyses.
• Negotiate the best price of components to be used in manufacturing.
• Monitor and support supply chain metrics; propose corrective actions and strategies.
• Track changes to manufacturing and CTB dates for alignment.
• Communicate changes in delivery dates, causes of delays, and recovery dates.
• Manage exceptions from significant events in sales, operations, and procurement.
• Report on variances between Reorder Points and demand and business plan.
• Develop analysis and reports related to inventory projections and performance metrics.
• Maintain alignment of inventory to service levels and backorders; pursue reductions.
• Evolve and support documentation for demand-supply allocation processes.
