Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. seeks a Demand & Supply Planner to own forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing, and supplier coordination for a growing consumer products portfolio. The role is based in Walnut Creek, CA, onsite with one remote day per week after ~90 days.

You’ll work hands-on with BOMs, production schedules, and NetSuite, driving data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration to move inventory smoothly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with demand and supply planning in manufacturing or consumer products.
• Knowledge of BOMs, lead times, and production planning.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and strong Excel skills.
• Analytical, with ability to assess inventory priorities and trade-offs.
• Collaborative, adaptable communicator across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts from multiple inputs.
• Manage inventory planning, safety stock, and stockouts.
• Coordinate purchasing and production needs using BOMs and lead times.
• Create and track purchase orders with suppliers and partners.
• Support launches and changes with cross-functional planning.
• Use NetSuite and planning tools including new cloud platform adoption.
