Job summary

tarte is seeking a Sr. Planning Analyst in New York, hybrid. You will own SKU-level demand planning, monitor trends, and partner with merchandising and operations to optimize inventory while supporting launches and promotions.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, comfort with large datasets, and experience in retail/digital commerce dynamics. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience and proficiency with Excel and BI tools, with Vanguard a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or analytics in a consumer brand or ecommerce.
• Advanced Excel and BI tooling experience (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to summarize large data sets.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and coding mindset is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SKU-level demand planning across core, promotional, and newness assortments.
• Monitor sales trends and launch performance to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze retailer and product performance.
• Analyze data to identify demand drivers, risks, and gaps; build dashboards to track KPIs and forecast accuracy.
• Lead forecast-related discussions and align product demand and inventory strategy.
