Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking a Senior Analyst - Demand Planning in New York to lead demand forecasting and drive inventory efficiency. You will partner across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Planning to build a consensus S&OP demand plan and work with Supply Planning to address constraints.

The role requires 2+ years in forecasting or planning, a Bachelor’s in a related field, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP/forecasting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related business field.
• 2+ years forecasting/planning or related analytical experience.
• Excellent communication skills and Excel expertise.
• Proficiency with SAP Analyzer and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts and reduce inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Planning to build consensus demand plan via the S&OP process.
• Work with supply planning to resolve constraints and inform commercial teams.
• Support excess/obsolete reduction aligned to zero destruction.
• Ensure forecast assumptions align with base trends, promotions, launches, planograms.
• Analyze historical sales data and monitor forecast accuracy with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare written analyses and reports.
• Ensure alignment of Demand Forecast with Sales Estimates.
