Job summary

L’Oréal in New York is seeking a Manager, Demand Planning to lead forecast for the Luxury Products division. You will own shipment and sales forecasts, manage inventory health, and drive the monthly S&OP cycle with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
Minimum of 5+ years demand planning or related experience.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required.
Experience working with a forecast software system.
Experience working within an SAP environment a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage the development, review and implementation of an accurate forecast for use in financial, production and strategic planning processes.
Drive the S&OP process with key stakeholders in the business and operations, representing Supply Chain in the business unit and channel.
Interact & collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Finance partners in the development of the forecast.
Challenge the forecast based on analytical data and communicate risks & opportunities.
Monitor performance vs. the forecast to minimize stock issues and obsolescence.
Lead/participate in special projects and monthly KPI reporting.
