Job summary

J.W. Speaker is seeking a Sr. Demand Planning Analyst to build our SIOP process in a highly analytical, hands-on role in Wisconsin. You will develop statistical forecasts, integrate customer and sales inputs, and formalize how demand data is gathered and translated into a plan.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in demand planning or analytics, strong Excel, SQL, Python or R skills, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while influencing stakeholders with practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting methods and the ability to apply them practically.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical demand forecasts at multiple levels (item, customer, product family).
• Evaluate forecasting methods and select best-fit models.
• Analyze historical demand, orders, and forecast drivers to improve accuracy and bias.
• Incorporate sales inputs to create a consensus demand plan.
• Partner with IT and Supply Chain to enable forecasting tools.
• Identify data quality improvements and automation opportunities.
• Prepare demand reviews and scenario analyses for SIOP cadence.
