Job summary

J.W. Speaker Corporation is seeking a Sr. Demand Planning Analyst to build and formalize our demand planning capabilities as we implement a new SIOP process.

The role develops statistical forecasts, integrates customer and sales inputs, and translates data into a comprehensive demand plan. You will work cross-functionally to improve forecast accuracy and establish scalable governance and tools. You will contribute to the evolution of demand planning by evaluating forecasting methods, analyzing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with SIOP/IBP is strongly preferred, especially in evolving environments.
• Proficiency with tools like advanced Excel, SQL, Python, or R.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical demand forecasts at multiple levels (item, customer, product family).
• Evaluate and select forecasting methods (time series, trend, seasonality, exception-based).
• Analyze historical demand, order patterns, and forecast drives to improve accuracy and bias.
• Incorporate sales input and overrides to create a consensus demand plan.
• Partner with IT and Supply Chain teams to support forecasting tools and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, and forecasting efficiency.
• Monitor forecast performance using KPIs like MAPE, bias, and forecast accuracy.
