Job summary

RTX, based in Jamestown, ND, is seeking a Principal Specialist, Demand Planner to develop and maintain a long-range demand plan that supports revenue and inventory goals. You will work with Product, Program Management, Finance, and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy and align demand with capacity.

The role requires advanced planning skills, ERP literacy, and collaboration with internal and external customers to optimize inventory and margins in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years in related field (or 3 years with advanced degree).
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning.
• Experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; collaboration with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a minimum 36-month rolling demand plan as part of the SIOP process.
• Develop statistical forecasts and measure forecast error to improve accuracy.
• Aggregate demand plans and align with stability zones and time fences.
• Facilitate monthly demand reviews and participate in SIOP to align demand and supply.
• Partner with Finance to translate demand plans into financial plans.
• Ensure demand data is entered in ERP systems and aligned with aggregate plans.
• Communicate detailed and aggregated demand plans with key assumptions and risks.
