Abbott in Madison, WI seeks a Lead Demand Planner to guide forecasting for high-volume portfolios, partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to balance demand, capacity, and financial targets.

You will develop and maintain forecasts, analyze data, run scenario analyses, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes, while supporting new product introductions and international expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and executing demand planning strategies for complex or high-volume products.
• Ability to operate autonomously and make decisions with limited or evolving information.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains demand forecasts for assigned portfolios by analyzing historical data and market intelligence.
• Defines forecasting approaches, assumptions, governance, and participates in demand review discussions.
• Engages stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to align forecasts.
• Conducts demand scenario analysis and risk assessment for new products and international expansion.
• Partners with Supply Planning to ensure forecasts align with capacity and inventory strategies.
