Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Senior Demand Planner to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and support SIOP in PVF industry. Applicants should have 5+ years in demand planning or supply chain, and experience with ERP and forecasting software. Blue Yonder is a plus; CPIM/CSCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management; PVF or industrial distribution industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and forecasting software required.

Responsibilities

• Own a key set of accounts with close collaboration with customers.
• Coordinate planning activities for large projects and ensure on-time, on-target execution; lead end-to-end planning and track progress.
• Provide guidance on customer needs in the SIOP process and gather channel intelligence from Commercial partners.
• Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and customer insights.
• Analyze demand patterns and variances to support procurement, inventory, and sales planning decisions.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts with strategic objectives.
• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure lead-time reliability and mitigate supply risks.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP and forecasting systems for planning and reporting.
• Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, and fill rates.
• Identify risks related to demand variability, project-driven changes, and market shifts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to forecasting and inventory management.
