Job summary

Curran Recruiting seeks an experienced Demand Planner to lead monthly forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment across a defined product portfolio. This role collaborates with Sales, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, and suppliers to balance demand with inventory and supplier capacity.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in demand planning and ERP-based replenishment, with strong analytical and communication skills, and a background in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of demand planning, inventory management, and/or international procurement experience.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory planning, safety stock, and replenishment.
  • Experience with ERP, replenishment, or supply chain planning systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; SIOP/S&OP experience preferred.
  • APICS CSCP/CPIM and/or ISM CPSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly demand forecasting and support the SIOP/S&OP process.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts at the product and SKU level.
  • Manage inventory, safety stock, replenishment, and SKU stocking strategies.
  • Analyze supplier lead times, capacity, and potential supply constraints.
  • Monitor inventory health, service levels, inventory turns, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Support new product launches and changes to the product portfolio.
  • Maintain data and planning parameters within replenishment systems.
  • Analyze market trends and changing demand to support inventory and purchasing decisions.
  • Communicate forecast changes and supply risks across internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements across forecasting and inventory planning.

A growing manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to manage forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment across an assigned product portfolio. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, and suppliers to balance customer demand, inventory levels, supplier capacity, and service expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly demand forecasting and support the SIOP/S&OP process.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts at the product and SKU level.
  • Manage inventory, safety stock, replenishment, and SKU stocking strategies.
  • Analyze supplier lead times, capacity, and potential supply constraints.
