Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sr. Demand Planner to refine item-level forecasts and drive accuracy across categories. You will manage system exceptions daily, coordinate with DC Inventory Management, and collaborate with the Merchandise Planning team to align forecasts with promotions.

The role requires experience in demand planning, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with inventory tools like Relex. The position is hybrid, based in Phoenix with in-office days listed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with minimum experience in produce buying.
• Experience managing forecasts by item for assigned categories.
• Ability to supervise personnel and prioritize.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Refine and/or develop forecasts by item for assigned categories.
• Daily management of system exceptions to maximize fill-rates and freshness.
• Work with DC Inventory Management to share forecasted store orders and inbound demand.
• Collaborate with Inventory Analyst team to refine exceptions and item changes.
• Align category forecast with Merchandise Planning and promotional planning.
• Communicate issues impacting KPI achievement and drive improvements.
