Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to refine item forecasts for assigned categories and drive forecast accuracy. You will manage system exceptions daily and partner with DC Inventory, Inventory Analyst, and Merchandise Planning teams to align forecasts and promotions.

The role reports to Replenishment leadership and supports efficiency in labor and assets. The position offers hybrid work from the Store Support Office in Phoenix (in office Tue-Thu).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in produce buying or equivalent
• Proven ability to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Relex or similar inventory planning tools

Responsibilities

• Refine and develop forecasts by item for assigned categories
• Daily management of system exceptions to maximize fill-rates and freshness
• Coordinate with DC Inventory Management to share forecasted store orders
• Collaborate with Inventory Analyst and Merchandise Planning teams to align forecasts
• Communicate issues impacting KPI achievement and drive improvements
• Contribute to weekly trend meetings to capitalize on opportunities
