Job summary

Avatara Personal Care, LLC seeks a Senior Planner to own the full planning cycle linking what we sell to what we make and stock. You will forecast retailer demand, manage inventory pace, and build a bottom‑up sales plan to drive revenue across key accounts.

You will balance supply and demand, maintain data integrity in ERP/MRP, and serve as the liaison between suppliers, retail partners, and internal teams. This role may be filled at Planner or Senior Planner level depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in demand/supply planning, inventory control, or wholesale/sales planning.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with ERP/MRP environments (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle a plus).
• Familiarity with retailer point-of-sale and sell-through data sources is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end planning cycle: demand, inventory, and wholesale revenue planning.
• Build and maintain demand plans across SKU portfolios using forecasts, velocity, seasonality, and promotions.
• Track sell-through by retailer and translate into replenishment and inventory requirements.
• Develop production and supply plans balancing domestic and international demand with capacity.
• Monitor 12-month horizon for supply gaps and manage SLOB inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers through weekly order reviews to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Ensure ERP/MRP data integrity (lead times, MOQs, safety stock, BOMs).
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product to support NPD launches and transitions.
• Keep revenue plan aligned with unit demand plan and provide variance explanations.
